- Arrive at events on time and be prepared to participate as scheduled
Conduct
While participating in our events, you agree to conduct yourself in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. The following behaviors are prohibited:
- Cheating, exploiting bugs, or using unauthorized software
- Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior toward others
- Disruptive conduct that interferes with other participants' enjoyment
- Physical altercations or threats of violence
- Use of alcohol or drugs (except where legally permitted by venue)
- Violation of venue rules or local laws
Violation of these conduct standards may result in immediate removal from the event without refund and potential bans from future events.
Cancellations and Refunds
Refund policies vary by event and will be specified during the registration process. Generally:
- Cancellations made 14+ days before an event may be eligible for a full or partial refund
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before an event are typically non-refundable
- No-shows are not eligible for refunds
- If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund of registration fees
5. Intellectual Property
All content on our platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and the overall design, is owned by or licensed to Nerd Rage Gaming and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.
User Content
By submitting content to our platform (such as profile information, forum posts, or uploaded media), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our Services.
6. Tournament Results and Rankings
Tournament results, leaderboard standings, and player statistics are determined by our scoring systems and tournament administrators. All decisions regarding results are final.
We reserve the right to adjust results if cheating or rule violations are discovered, even after the conclusion of an event.
7. Media Release
By attending our events, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. We may use this media for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and marketing materials, without additional compensation.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform our event staff upon arrival.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nerd Rage Gaming shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our Services or participation in our events.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Assumption of Risk
Participation in gaming events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: physical strain from extended gaming sessions, exposure to flashing lights, loud sounds, and large crowds. You acknowledge these risks and assume full responsibility for your participation.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nerd Rage Gaming, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of our Services.
