Battle for glory in the NRG Series: Magic, a series of events where players compete for cash prizes, leaderboard points, and qualifications for the invite-only NRG Championship: Magic.

Format: Pauper
Structure: Swiss Rounds with Cut to Top 8 Single Elimination
Start time: 10:30am SATURDAY*

*Why is this event being held on Saturday?

The typical schedule of Saturday Showdown and Sunday trials is flipped for this event. Due to the Riftbound RQ being streamed on Saturday we asked our community what was more important to them: that the MTG Main event is held on Saturday or that it is streamed and thus held on Sunday. The answer was overwhelmingly in favor of being streamed, so the Trios main event is being held on Sunday at 9am and will be streamed, resulting in the two Trials to be held on Saturday.

Main Event Rules

The hall opens at 8am on both Saturday and Sunday. Round one for this event will begin promptly at it's scheduled start time.

• This event will be run at Competitive Rules Enforcement Level (Comp REL).

• Decklists are required. Submit via Melee before the tournament begins.

• The number of swiss rounds depends on attendance.

• The top eight players decklists will be public after Swiss rounds of events where coverage is being utilized.
