Riftbound Showdown Series

Battle for glory in the Riftbound Showdown Series featuring an invite to the Riftbound Regional Championship, invitations to the Regional Qualifiers, NRG Points and an invite to NRG Champs: Riftbound.

What is the NRG Series?
The NRG Series: Riftbound is a series of "Showdown" events where players compete for cash prizes, leaderboard points, and a qualification for the invite-only 16 players, $15,000 prize pool, NRG Championship: Riftbound.

Event Details

Prize Pool: $5,000 - $20,000 dependent on attendance*, Regional Championship Invitations, Regional Qualifier Standard Competitor Badges, "Jayce, Man of Progress" participation promo, Plated "Prize Wall" Metal Legend Cards, NRG Series: Riftbound leaderboard points, and an invite to the NRG Championship: Riftbound
Format: Constructed
Structure: Swiss Rounds with Cut to Top 8 Single Elimination (Please NOTE: If this event reaches 9 or more rounds of Swiss, Swiss rounds will be played on Saturday and some or all of the Top 8 rounds will be played Sunday morning beginning at 8:30am. NRGEvents.gg reserves the right to adjust this based on attendance and timing of event)
Start time: 9am Central Time

Scaling Prize Structure based on Attendance

Plated "Prize Wall" Legend Cards will be awarded to the top performing player of each registered Legend.

Main Event Rules

The hall opens at 8am on both Saturday and Sunday. Round one for this event will begin promptly at it's scheduled start time.

• This event will be run at Competitive Organized Play Level (Comp OPL).

• Decklists are required. Submit via carde.io before the tournament begins.

• The number of swiss rounds depends on attendance.

• The top eight players' decklists will be public after Swiss rounds of events where coverage is being utilized.
