Playing in an NRG Series: Riftbound event earns you NRG Series: Riftbound leaderboard points that are tracked here. At the end of the year, 8 at large points leaders on this leaderboard will receive an invitation to compete in the NRG Championship: Riftbound event with a prize pool of $15,000.
